Treatment Plan Designer Interface
The Treatment Plan Designer workspace is divided into the following areas.

To increase the workspace size, in the toolbar select Hide Plan List and Hide Toolbox to hide those areas. Select Show Plan List and Show Toolbox to show those areas. The following example shows the toolbox hidden.

Treatment Plan List
The Treatment Plan List is an alphabetical list of all treatment plans in the system.
- Red check mark - This identifies the treatment plan is in use.
- Person icon - This indicates a user-defined treatment plan.
- Pushpin - Select the pushpin next to the treatment plan to pin the plan to Properties Pane 1 (P1) or Pane 2 (P2) in the workspace. When a treatment plan is pinned to the workspace, the plan name and the pushpin display in bold.

To search for a treatment plan, move the cursor over the Treatment Plan List header and click the magnifying glass icon. In the search box type a name and all treatment plans containing that name will display in the list.
To sort the Treatment Plan List, move the cursor over the Treatment Plan List header and click the up-and-down arrows to sort the list in ascending or descending order, such as from A-Z or Z-A.
Note: Treatment plan names that begin with numerals will display before names beginning with letters.

Properties Panes
The Properties Pane 1 (P1) and Pane 2 (P2) are where you load the treatment plan or plans to be worked on. The P1 and P2 columns in the Treatment Plan List correspond to Properties Panes 1 and 2, with Pane 1 on the left and Pane 2 on the right.
To load a treatment plan in the Properties pane, select the plan name or select the pushpin in the P1 column. To load a second treatment plan in the Properties pane, click the plan name or click the pushpin in the P2 column. The two plans will display side-by-side in Panes 1 and 2, as shown in the following example.

The Properties pane shows a hierarchical view of the treatment plan. Each row has a label that identifies the type of item, such as Plan, Plan Header, Plan Components, Goal, Objective, and Method. Each component under Plan Components is also identified by an icon. These icons also appear in the Toolbox.

Actions menu
Select the Actions button for an item to select an action to take. The actions available vary depending on the item.
- Cancel - Cancel the changes for the item.
- Close - Close the treatment plan. This unpins the plan from the workspace, and in the Treatment Plan List the plan name and pushpin are no longer bold.
- Copy - Copy the treatment plan. You are prompted to enter a New Plan Code and New Plan Name. Refresh the Treatment Plan List and the new treatment plan will display in the list in alphabetical order.
- Delete - Delete a user-defined treatment plan or a treatment plan component. The treatment plan or component marked for deletion displays with a red strikethrough line. Select Delete in the Plan or Plan Header row to delete the treatment plan. Select Delete in a component row to delete that component and all items under it.
- History - For the selected treatment plan or treatment plan component, display the history of changes.
Toolbox
The Toolbox pane lists all components that can appear on a treatment plan. These include Goals, Objectives, and Methods.

Select a toolbox item and press and hold the left mouse button. Drag the item to where you want to add it to the treatment plan. See Treatment Plan Designer Drag-and-Drop feature for more information on using this feature.
