Test a route in NX Routing

After creating a route in NX Routing, follow these steps in Development to test the route and make sure it works as expected.

  1. Complete the event that starts the route.
  2. Open the event and verify the routing option is present. If more than one option should be present, verify those options are available.
  3. Test all actions and options available in the route (re-assign, route back, route to workgroup, route to supervisor, and so on). Here is an example:clipboard_ec3b9fb30c5718cfe7093aa21e63bb555.png
    • Select an action, such as Assign to Person.
    • Verify the transition status is correct.
    • Verify the Current Assignee is correct.
    • Verify the look-up table is accurate.
    • Verify all routing actions are present.
    • Verify the routing timeline is accurate. The routing timeline shows the history without having to open the history.
  4. Open the event and select a different routing action, such as Submit to Supervisor. Here is an example:

    • Verify the transition status, timeline, routing history, and so on display as expected.
  5. Verify the status reflects correctly in Service Entry, based on the routing action taken.

  6. Open the event and select another routing action.

    • Verify the routing timeline reflects all routing actions.
    • Verify the event transition displays correctly.

Note: If you feel some actions are missing, or the route is not functioning as expected, verify how the route is working in Production without Routing NX enabled. If it is confirmed that a route is not working, open a Netsmart Support case. Be sure to include the name of the route, documentation that demonstrates the route working as expected in the legacy version of myEvolv and where it is failing in myEvolv NX.
