Show group progress notes and unit on individual group note

This article guides you through the setup to customize individual group notes to display the group note and the group unit.

Display group note on individual note
  1. Go to: Setup > User Tools > Form Designer > Form Designer.
  2. Select Open and search for/select the Activities – People form family.
  3. Select the activity form where you want to add the Group/Family Case Note.
  4. Optional. Create a group in the form for the note:
    1. From the Toolbox select and drag Form Group to the desired location. 
    2. Expand the group and enter a Caption
  5. From the Toolbox, select and drag Sub-report to the desired location. 
  6. Expand the row and enter a caption, if desired, and select the magnifying glass in Sub-report. Search and select Progress Notes from Groups for People
  7. Select Save.

Activities-People forms

  1. From the Toolbox, select and drag Event log field to the desired area of the form.
  2. Expand the section and under Column, search and select column units_id.
  3. In Look-up Table, search for and select Unit/class for group.
  4. In Depends on Other enter agencyID~getElementFromXML(formXML, 'event_definition_id')
  5. In Default Value enter units_id
  6. Make the field Visible and Not Modifiable.
  7. Select Save.

NYSCRI progress note forms

  1. From the Toolbox, select and drag Event log field to the desired area of the form.
  2. Expand the section and under Column, search and select column units_id.
  3. In Look-up Table, search for and select Unit/class for group.
  4. In Default Value enter units_id
  5. Make the field Visible and Not Modifiable.
  6. Select Save.
