Security for Events

Choose which events (services or other events) the worker role may have access to when working with clients or groups. 

All events are placed into their assigned Event Categories. These include all categories for People, Groups & Cases, Profiles, and System Modifiable and Not Modifiable events.

Configure Security for Events
  1. Navigate to Agency Setup > Staff and Security Setup > Worker Roles > Security for Events.
  2. In the taskbar click Select Worker Role.
  3. Search for and select the role. 
  4. The screen displays in alphanumeric order all System Events grouped by Event Group along with the various types of access that can be granted. This includes Access (view), Add, Edit, Delete, Undelete, Un-Sign, and Amend.
    Note: A System Administrator role should show all events.
  5. Click the arrow next to the event category name to display all events in that category.
  6. Click Actions then Allow Access to give the worker role access to all events; click Remove Access to remove access to all events.
  7. To select whether to allow or remove access for each access type for an event (Add, Edit, and so on), click the check mark (Allow) or the x (Remove).
  8. When finished, click Save.

The events for placing clients in programs, facilities, groups, and other profiles must be allowed here for all worker roles that you want to have this ability. 

The following table lists important events that can be assigned to worker roles.

Memberships/Placement in Profiles Facility Placement Allows the worker role to perform enrollments.
Service Track Agency Placement If staff with this role should be allowed to perform a new client agency Intake (including enrollment into a Program and Facility), they must have access to the Service Track Placement event.
Worker Assignments - Client Worker Assignment
  • Part of enrolling a client into a program requires assigning a Primary Worker.
  • After enrollment, other worker assignment types may be needed.
  • Grant access to the above events for workers who need to track worker assignments, and perform Program Enrollments.
Discharges Planned and Unplanned Discharge Allows the worker role to discharge clients.

  • Allows the worker role to handle Applicant, Case, Day Care, Family, and Foster Home membership events.
  • Allows the worker role to handle Facility and Respite placement events.
  • Allows the worker role to handle Attendance, Group, and Program enrollment events.
  • Allows the worker role to handle School Contact and Placement events.
  • Allows the worker role to handle New Family with Members setup event.
