Safety Plan Categories
Details
You can use the 'Safety Plan Category' indicator to limit the Categories that are available in a Treatment Plan. This is useful if a requirement of developing a treatment plan includes the necessity of identifying a Safety Plan within the Treatment Plan. This could be used in conjunction with non-Safety Plan Categories to develop a robust treatment plan.
Setup
1) In Setup > Treatment and Tests > Treatment Setup > Category, an option to indicate that this Category is a 'Safety Plan' Category is available.
2) Then, in Setup > Treatment and Tests > Treatment Plans / Other > Design Plan Components, the 'Area of Treatment - Safety Plan' component is available. This component can be used as is, or can be copied and modified. If the form is copied, do not modify the field 'Category'.
3) In addition, in Setup > Treatment and Tests > Treatment Plans/Other > Treatment Plan Designer, a plan design that utilizes the Safety Component is available. This can be used as is, or copied and modified.
System Result
If the setup above is completed, then when the user is entering the treatment plan, the only available category or categories (and, consequently, the linked problems, strengths, goals, objectives, and methods) will be those which are indicated to be a 'Safety Plan' category.
