Resolve error on deleted treatment plan

This situation occurs when and if a sub-form is added to treatment plans and is made invisible. It can also happen if a sub-form is added to the treatment plan that is based upon a form not designed to be used as a sub-form. The result is that phantom records can be created in the system that do not show up in the interface but still exist and link to the treatment plan.

Resolution

To resolve the issue:

  1. Make a copy of your production system and create or overwrite a dev/testing system with it. This would only need to be the database if your dev/testing system is at the same version as production. You should also run the create form xml utility afterwards.
  2. Run the attached script on your dev/testing system.
  3. Login to dev/test system and attempt to delete the treatment plan that raised the original error.
  4. If the delete was sucessful run the script on your production system. Users need not log out of Evolv but they should refrain from using treatment plans until the script finished.
