Improve workstation performance with large treatment plans

 

Follow these recommendations for improving performance when using Treatment Plans in myEvolv.

myEvolv users may experience slowness when working with large Treatment Plans due to inherent limitations of Internet Explorer. Treatment Plan functionality is available in myEvolv NX currently.  Relief of these performance issues can be seen by using myEvolv NX in Chrome.  Enhanced functionality for Treatment Plan performance is being developed for use in myEvolv NX where performance is even better improved, which is scheduled to be released in 2019. 

If using myEvolv NX is not an option for your agency currently, please follow these steps to see some improvement when using myEvolv. The modifications should be performed on the workstation that will be used to work with Treatment Plans.

Procedure

In Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu.

  1. Select Internet Options.

On the Advanced tab, under the Security section towards the bottom

  1. Select the following boxes.
  • Enable 64-bit processes for Enhanced Protected Mode*
  • Enable Enhanced Protected Mode*

Click Apply.

On the Security tab

  1. Click the Trusted Sites icon. Then select the box Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer).

    Click Apply.

In the top right corner

  1. Click the Close button to close Internet Explorer.

  1. Restart the workstation.
