Substance/Medications Table

This is the built in library of medications/substances that can be added to client records.  All drugs are sectioned into Drug Categories noting a type.  Each drug listing for a category is entered in this area the same way in which any table from Table Maintenance is entered, however there are additional fields than can be used for reporting purposes.  These are as follows (Note these field entries are optional):

• NDC Code - National Drug Code
• HCPCS Code - Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System
• HCPCS Description - Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System Description

In addition to the above, a each drug listing requires an entry in the field.  The values in this lookup are created in Controlled Substance Indicators.
