Payer Schemes

Schemes define the programs and service combinations (from those that were defined in your Agency Setup) that may be associated with contacts for this payer.

Details

  • This feature allows you to specify programs and services in your agency setup that should be available for contacts. Most payers only have one scheme and most of the time it is not necessary to create more than one.
  • Schemes provide easier setup for contracts because only valid program/service combinations are available for Rate Setup when working with Revenue and Expense Setup. 
  • When creating a scheme,choose only those programs and services that might apply to each contract. That way, when creating new Plan/Contracts and Rate Setup, the scheme will act as a filter, only showing those that were selected in Scheme setup.
