Maintain the ZIP Code Table

 

Overview  

The ZIP Code Setups area allows you to make necessary updates to the ZIP code table. It is a table provided by the US Postal Service which Netsmart has integrated into myEvolv.  From time to time, users may find some entries inaccurate.  Your agency is responsible for updating this area as needed. Use this area to make necessary changes.

Menu path  

Agency Setup > Agency > Zip Code Maintenance > Setups 

Modify an Existing ZIP Code

  1. Navigate to the following path: Agency Setup > Agency > Zip Code Maintenance > Setups.
  2. In the toolbar, click Select Zip Code.
  3. In the Select Zip Code dialog, search for and select a ZIP code.
  4. Make any relevant changes to the fields.
  5. Click Save.

Create a New ZIP Code 

  1. Navigate to the following path: Agency Setup > Agency > Zip Code Maintenance > Setups.
  2. In the toolbar, click Select Zip Code.
  3. In the Select Zip Code dialog, perform a search and click New.
  4. In the Add form, enter all of the relevant information. The following fields are required:
  • ZIP code
  • City
  • State Code
  1. Click Save.
