System Code Definition

User-defined system codes (Also known as sub-system codes) can be defined as a subset of the root system code (setup in the Root System Code Definition form). System codes are assigned to users in the User Definition, and User Role Definition forms. (System codes can contain hyphens, underscores, and periods.)

Prerequisites

Edit System Code

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > System Administration
  2. Click Select Existing System Code.
  3. Select the system code, click Ok.

Create New System Code

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > System Administration
  2. In the System Code field, enter the new system code.
  3. In the Associated Programs field, select programs to include in the system code.  
  • If programs are selected, only client records for episodes in the selected programs will be available to users in that system code.
  • Enter the program name, press Enter.
  • Programs can be associated with multiple system codes.
  1. The Current Order field displays program IDs. Multiple programs are separated by '&'.
  2. Click Display Values for Current Entries to display a dialog with the associated programs.
  3. In the Associated Locations field, select locations to associate with the system code.  If locations are selected, only client records for episodes in the selected locations will be available to users in that system code.
  4. If appropriate, click Remove to delete the system code from the namespace.
  5. Click Submit.
