Emergency Access

This form allows you to specify that a User Role is defined for emergency access.

  • A user is granted emergency access when:
    • Yes is selected in the User Role for Emergency Access Only field (User Role Definition form), for the user role the user is associated with.
  • The following changes are made in the User Role Definition form:
    • Any selections made in the following fields are bypassed:
      Allow Product SQL Access, Select Table For Product SQL Access, Allow Product SQL Access to Additional Datasets, and Product SQL access Datasets.
    • No is selected in the Prevent Access to Clients Not in My Caseload field
    • Forms assigned to the user role will not display in the User Definition form, or in the user's menu until Yes is selected in the Enable Emergency Access field of this form.
  • In Block Client Chart, when a User or User Role has "Allow Emergency Access for User/User Role" set to 'Yes', the user will have access to the Chart View for that client after the user completes the prompts to continue and after adding a reason for access.

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > System Administration > Emergency Access
  2. In the Enable Emergency Access field:
    • Select Yes to make emergency access active in myAvatar .
      ​A user associated to a user role that has emergency access (User Role for Emergency Access Only field, User Role Definition form):
      • Can access the Select Client field.
      • If the user associated to this role is customized, the forms assigned to this user role will not display in the Select Forms For User Access field in the User Definition form.
        These forms are not assigned unless an emergency is declared.
      • Access to a form assigned to the user role may be changed from Read Only to Read/Write. 
    • Select No to deactivate emergency access.
  3. In the Expiration Date field, enter the date.
  4. In the Expiration Time field, enter the time.
  5. In the Reason For Emergency field, select the emergency reason.
  6. In the Comment field, enter any associated comments.
  7. Click the Submit button to record the changes.
