Transfer Practitioner Caseload - PM

Transfer one practitioner’s caseload to another practitioner. 

Transferring an attending practitioner caseload creates an entry in the 'SYSTEM.history_attending_practitioner' SQL table, with the effective date and time of the transfer. This information can also be obtained through the Attending Practitioner form.

The practitioners must be users, set up in the User Definition form.

Prerequisites:

  • The practitioners must be users, set up in the User Definition form (RADplus Utilities).

  1. Go to: Avatar PM >  System Maintenance > Practitioner Maintenance > Transfer Practitioner Caseload
  2. In the Caseload Type field, select the type of practitioner to transfer from.
    • Select Admitting Practitioner Caseload to transfer the admitting practitioner.
    • Select Attending Practitioner Caseload to transfer the attending practitioner caseload.
    • Select Team Practitioner Caseload to transfer patients from any team member to another caseload.
  3. In the Transfer Caseload From field, enter the practitioner name/ID and select a value from the Results list.
    Result: A dialog box displays if the practitioner has no clients in their caseload.
  4. Select Ok, and then select another practitioner.
  5. In the Individual Or All Clients field:
    • Select All to transfer all clients from one practitioner to another.
    • Select Individual to only transfer certain clients.
  6. When transferring individual clients, choose Select Clients To Transfer to display the Transfer Practitioner Caseload window.
  7. Select the clients to transfer and then select Ok.
  8. In the Transfer Caseload To field, enter the practitioner name/ID and select a value from the Results list.
  9. In the Effective Date of Transfer field, enter the transfer caseload date.
  10. In the Effective Time of Transfer field, enter the transfer caseload time.
  11. Select Submit.
  12. Select Ok to confirm the transfer.
