Service Status Maintenance - PM

Manage myAvatar service status codes.

Avatar PM > System Maintenance > System Definition > Service Status Maintenance

  • The codes defined in this form will populate the Service Status field on the following forms:
    • Client Charge Input
    • Client Charge Input (Charge Fee Access)
    • Client Charge Input With Diagnosis Entry
    • Client Charge Input (Charge Fee Access and Diagnosis Entry)
    • Service Panel Charge Input
    • Edit Service Information
    • Edit Service Information (Charge Fee Access)
    • Spreadsheet Charge Input
    • Spreadsheet Edit Service Information
  1. In the Add New Service Status Or Edit Existing field, choose whether to Add or Edit a service status code.

  2. If adding a new code, enter it into the Service Status Code field.

  3. If editing an existing code, select the code from the Service Status drop-down menu. The current values for that code will populate the fields below.

  4. In the Service Status Description field, add or edit the code description.

  5. In the Active field, designate whether or not the code should be Active. Inactive codes cannot be used in myAvatar forms.

  6. In the Inhibit Billing field, select Yes to prevent billing for the status code.

  7. In the Circumvent the Authorization Requirement field, select Yes to bypass an authorization code.

  8. In the Override Fee to Zero field, select Yes to set the status code to override any fees with a zero charge.

  9. Select the Security Level for the code. Users will only see codes for the security levels to which they have access.

  10. In the Default Status field, select Yes to set the current status code as the default value for the Service Status field.

  11. If the service was refused, search for select the reason why in the Refusal Reason field.

  12. Click the File button to submit the changes.
