Record objectives in the client treatment plan

Record each of the desired steps toward achieving a goal associated with the selected problem.


  1. Go to: Avatar CWS > Treatment Planning > Client Treatment Plan > Objectives Section
  2. In the Select Problem Link field, choose the treatment plan problem.
  3. If appropriate, in the Select Goal field, select the goal.
  4. In the Select Objective To Edit field, select the objective.
  5. If appropriate, in the Select Library field, select the treatment plan library.
  6. Enter new goals manually or select them from a library:
    • Choose Select From Library.
    • In the TX Plan Selections screen, select the goal and then Ok.
  7. In the Date Opened field, enter the objective opened date
  8. In the Status field, select the objective status.
  9. If appropriate, enter the objective due date.
  10. If appropriate, enter the objective closed date.
  11. In the Staff Assigning field, enter the staff name of the person who identified the problem, and select Process Search.
  12. Select Ok.
  13. If appropriate, in the Staff Responsible field of the person responsible for tracking the problem, and select Process Search.
  14. Select Ok.
    Note: The Predefined field displays Yes when the objective was selected from a library; it displays No for all other objectives.
  15. Select Delete to remove the displayed treatment plan item.
