Home Medications Section
The Medications section will be used to reconcile medications from two sources:
- Home Medications entered into OrderConnect or the Home Meds tab of the OE Console.
(These are the Patient Reported Medications and are not actual prescriptions.) - CCD Medications
The Source column will indicate the origin of the medications. Those that are already on the client’s record as a patient reported medication will show with a source of "Agency/Clinic (OC)". Those that are not yet incorporated into the client’s chart will show with a source of "CCD Imported".
User Rights
Users who wish to view, create or discontinue Home Medications must be defined as either a Prescriber or an Agent within OrderConnect.
Agency/Clinic
Medications with the source of "Agency/Clinic" will have the value of "Include" defaulted into the Include in Record column. These are medications either entered directly into OrderConnect or entered into the OE Console using the Home Meds tab. You do have the option to set the record to Do Not Include to inactive the medication upon reconciliation.
CCD Imported Medications
Medications with the source of "CCD Imported" will be highlighted in yellow. You can select the records you want to include and then designate those you do not wish to include or utilize the Do Not Include Remaining button to select the remaining records as such. Upon reconciliation, those marked as "Include" will be created as new medications within OrderConnect/OE Console Home Medications. When "Include" is selected for CCD Medications myAvatar will default in Type to Add value of OrderConnect Non-ISC Order.
