Cal-OMS Web Service Enhancements

What are we doing?

Updating the myAvatar Cal-OMS Web Service to allow for myAvatar to assign the 'Form Serial Number' associated with an inbound record. 

Why are we doing it?

When filing Cal-OMS records via a web service or integration, the system will accept and file a Form Serial Number from the record provided. If records are being received from multiple entities, it is plausible that duplicate Form Serial Numbers can be filed in myAvatar. An enhancement is needed to ensure that Cal-OMS records can be filed with unique Form Serial Numbers. 

How are we doing it?

Adding a registry setting for a Managing Organization to enable that will allow the system to evaluate inbound Cal-OMS records and ignore the Form Serial Number included with the record. System logic will be updated to allow the Cal-OMS record to file and have myAvatar assign the Form Serial Number. Allowing myAvatar to assign the Form Serial Number will ensure that the numbers remain unique within the system.
