myAvatar NX Smart Phone Layout
This article describes a 2024 planned feature delivered through the myAvatar Product Roadmap. This information is subject to change.
What are we doing?
Enabling users to access and effectively complete most documentation in myAvatar NX via a smart phone web browser.
Why are we doing it?
Clinician mobility is an ever-increasing desire to allow maximum flexibility while providing the most face-to-face time with clients possible. To help facilitate mobility, myAvatar NX continues to add mobile form factor access. The myAvatar NX smart phone interface will allow staff to access and complete a large percentage of clinical documentation, such as assessments and progress notes, directly via their phone.
How are we doing it?
The responsive myAvatar NX design will be leveraged to present form content in a functional and accessible fashion, with some elements optimized for a smart phone interface. Users will be able to select a client, open a form, and complete the documentation directly from their phone. Forms may be presented with an alternative Form Designer layout that an administrator may adjust to accommodate any special requirements. Because the user accesses myAvatar NX online, certain functionality such as ScriptLink will remain supported. Note that some form objects or types of documentation instrument may not be supported due to the limited available screen space.
