Guarantor Ordering Enhancements

What are we doing?
An enhancement is being made to myAvatar to allow agencies to order guarantors directly from within the Guarantor Selection section of Financial Eligibility.
Why are we doing it?
To address common challenges with the Financial Eligibility form when edits are made to a client record. Currently, when edits are made to a client's Financial Eligibility record, the guarantor order will clear and has to be re-entered. If the order is not entered or re-entered correctly, it can cause liability distribution issues. This enhancement aims to streamline the Financial Eligibility editing process, reducing the time it takes to train end users on how to order guarantors accurately and reducing the number of mistakes made when guarantor orders change.
How are we doing it?
Adding a new registry setting to enable Guarantor Ordering enhancements. Once this setting is enabled, it cannot be disabled. A new required field will be added to the Guarantor Selection section of Financial Eligibility forms to enter the guarantor order. When a new guarantor is added or an existing guarantor is edited or deleted, the guarantor order will dynamically shift according to the changes being made. A new column will be added to the Guarantor Information multi-iteration table to display the Guarantor Order.
