Create Batches in Claim Processing Forms - MSO

What are we doing?

Updating myAvatar MSO to support the ability to create batches directly from the Claim Processing forms.

Why are we doing it?

Currently, end users must create a batch using the Batch Creation form before services can be entered in a Claim Processing form. The Batch Creation form must also be updated prior to batch closure to reconcile the number of entries and total dollar amounts included in the batch. 

Organizations are requesting a more efficient way to enter claims when using the Claim Processing forms in myAvatar MSO or ProviderConnect NX. 

How are we doing it?

Adding the ability to create a batch from the Claim Processing form pre-display and adding the ability to close a batch without having to reconcile batch totals in the Batch Creation form. This enhancement will remove the Batch Creation form from the claim entry workflow process.
