Ad-Hoc Medication Reconciliation

What are we doing?

Adding the ability to complete medication reconciliation on an ad-hoc basis to account for interrupted stays, return from leaves, unit transfers, and so on.

Why are we doing it?

There are situations where medication reconciliation may need to be completed more than once per episode when the clinical need arises, such as interrupted stays, unit transfers, and so on.

How are we doing it?

A new tab will be added to the Order Entry Console (Ad Hoc Reconciliation) to allow a prescriber to perform medication reconciliation for the current episode or between the current episode and a previous episode.
