'Y' enables the ’Populate Subscriber Additional Identification (2100C-REF-02) with 'Subscriber Policy Number', and 'Populate Subscriber Name (2100C-NM1-09)' with 'Subscriber Policy Number Override' fields in the Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults form (Eligibility Inquiry (270) section).

These fields override the 'Subscriber Additional Identification (2100C-REF-02)', and 'Subscriber Name (2100C-NM1-09)' segments in a 270 submission.

The value entered in the Subscriber Policy Number field (Financial Eligibility form) is used for 2100C-REF-02 when the following conditions exist:

  • 'Yes' is selected in the 'Populate Subscriber Additional Identification (2100C-REF-02) with ’Subscriber Policy Number field

  • NQ (Medicaid Recipient Identification Number) is entered in the Subscriber Additional Id Qualifier (270-2100C-REF-01) field

  • The Enable Subscriber Additional Id (2100C) registry setting is enabled.

The value entered for the client in the Subscriber Policy Number Override field (Financial Eligibility form) is used for 2100C-NM1-09 when the following conditions exist:

  • 'Yes' is selected in the Populate Subscriber Name (2100C-NM1-09) with ’Subscriber Policy Number Override field

  • The Enable Subscriber Policy Number Override registry setting is enabled.
