'Y' enables the following fields that specify Payer Secondary Identification information.

  • 'Payer Secondary Identification Qualifier (2010BB/2330B-REF-01)', and 'Payer Secondary Identification # (2010BB/2330B-REF-02)' in the Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults form (837 Professional, and 837 Dental sections)

  • 'Payer Secondary Identification Qualifier (2010BC/2330B-REF-01)', and 'Payer Secondary Identification # (2010BC/2330B-REF-02)' in the Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults form (837 Institutional section).

This information will populate the other payer secondary identification information (2330B-REF: Other Payer Secondary Identification) for the 837 when the guarantor is included as part of other subscriber information.

'N' removes the above fields from the above forms.
