Include Draft/Final Prompt - Registry Setting

This registry setting is accessed for the following form locations:

Avatar CWS > Progress Notes > Ambulatory

Avatar CWS > Progress Notes > Ambulatory (Medical Diagnosis)

Avatar CWS > Progress Notes > Inpatient

Avatar CWS > Progress Notes > Inpatient (Medical Diagnosis)

'1' enables the Draft/Final field in the forms listed above.

This functionality allows you to edit a progress note when the note is in Draft status. When you re-enter the form, if any Draft notes have been filed, a pre-display will appear listing the available notes to edit.

'2' enables the above field, and the following:

  • The Approve Note field (Review/Co-Sign Notes, Review/Co-Sign Documents, and Review/Co-Sign Notes forms), for progress notes created in the above forms.
  • The No (note status will be set to draft) selection is enabled, which allows the progress note to be edited.

'0' disables the above fields in the above forms.

Note: This registry setting affects all facilities.

For the Progress Notes (Group and Individual) form, this setting is added through Site Specific Section Modeling and not through Registry Settings.
