User Role File Import

Import an .XML file that contains user role information generated in the User Role File Export form.

  • Assigned widgets
  • Forms
  • Document Management access
  • SQL tables
  • Abstracts
  • Forms added to My Forms
  • Chart forms
  • Views
  • Workflow lists
  • Security levels

Prerequisites:

Note: The Netsmart-recommended best practice is to create a User Role in your TEST environment, and export it from there before importing into BUILD/LIVE. If the file tries importing an item that the current user does not have access to, or the item does not exist, the item will be skipped for import.

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > User Maintenance > User Role File Import

  2. Open the User File Import form, and click the Select Import File button.

  1. Navigate to the file, click Open.

  2. Review the results Import Scan Results field.
    Result: If the file import has no errors the Begin Import button is enabled.
    Note: All errors must be corrected before the file can be posted. After correcting the file, it must be re-compiled.

  3. Click Begin Import.
    Result: The imported user roles will be available in the User Role Definition form, and can be assigned to users through the User Definition form.​
