Change User ID File Import

Use this form to import multiple user IDs at one time.

  1. Create a tab delimited file.
    • Use any Windows-based word processing program. Save the document as a text (.txt) file.
    • The file can be created in Microsoft Excel, and saved as a tab delimited text file.
    • Use two tab delimited columns (ASCII character 9). Follow each column with a carriage return (ASCII character 13), and a line feed (ASCII character 10).
      Column 1 - this should be the current User ID.
      Column 2 - this should be the new User ID.
    • Follow each entry with a period.
    • Use tab for blank entries.
  2. Save the file on the server.
  3. Go to RADplus Utilities > System Security > User Maintenance > Change User ID File Import.
  4. Choose Select Change User ID File.
  5. Navigate to the file and select Open.
  6. Select Process Change User ID File.
  7. Review the results in the Change User ID File Scan Results field.
    • If the file import has no errors, Process Change User ID File is enabled.
    • All errors must be corrected before the file can be posted.
    • After correcting the file, it must be re-compiled.
  8. Select Process Change User ID File.

The new user ID must be entered the next time the user logs in.
