Root System Code Definition
You can create partitions in your myAvatar database known as root system codes. Root system codes provide the ability to segregate entity data (clients, users, staff, etc) while retaining the ability to maintain the system centrally. A root system code is associated with all programs in myAvatar , and can contain sub-system (or user-defined) system codes. When myAvatar PM is installed, one root system code is setup per facility.
Registry settings, Dictionary import, SQL Access, and Modeling, can be applied to the logged in root code, to all root codes or to specified root codes.
Prerequisites
- Multiple system code functionality must be enabled by a Netsmart system administrator.
Edit a Root System Code
- Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > System Administration
- In the Root System Code field, enter the system code name.
- System code names must be in uppercase letters.
- Entering a new root system code replaces the current root system code.
- In the Description field, enter the root system code description.
- If appropriate, in the Disable field, select Yes to disable user access to the root system code.
Note: Disabled system codes cannot be selected in the User Definition and User Role Definition forms. - Click Submit.
