Pre Display Section

Define the layout and operation of the form's pre-display.

  1. In the Remove Form Pre Display field:

    • Select Yes to disable the form pre-display. You will no longer see any previous rows of data entry.

    • Select No to enable the pre-display which displays previous entered rows of data. This allows you to view and edit previous entries.
      If No is selected, in the Number of Columns in Table Pre Display field, enter the number of columns to display in the form pre-display.

  2. In the 'Primary Table Pre Display Column' 1 through 5 fields, select the pre-display columns.
    For tables that are date sorted, a pre-display column is automatically generated for the sort date (effectively behaving as Column 0). Consequently, the selection made in Column 1 will be the first column to display after Date, etc.

  3. In the Default Information From Previous Table During Add field:

  • Yes causes the last filed row of data (for the episode) to populate fields when Add New Item is clicked.
  • No populates no information in the form when the form is opened.
  • Aliased table columns are unaffected by this field.
  1. In the Default Information From Previous Table During Add field, select Yes to default the most recent information from the previous table into the form.

  2. In the Default Information From User Selected Row During Add field, select Yes to choose which table row you want to populate into the form.
    Yes overrides the choices in the following fields, and sets these fields to No:

  • Default Information From Previous Table During Add
  • Default from previous episode if no rows exists for the current episode fields (Form Def. section)
    If either 'Default' field is set to Yes, the Default Information From User Selected Row During Add field will be changed to No
  1. In the Group List of User Selected Rows By Episode field:
    This applies to episodic forms only.

  • Select Yes to group the list of rows a user can select, by client episode. 
  • Select No to list all rows a user can select by Date Sorted or Order Entry depending on the primary table.
  • The Default Information From User Selected Row During Add field must be set to Yes.
  1. In the Allow Deletion of Row From Table field, select Yes to allow an end-user to delete a row of data, by enabling the Delete button in the form pre-display.

    Note: If a form is set up to use Service Documentation, the Allow Deletion of Row from Table is disabled.
    To delete a row from a modeled form that uses Service Documentation, use the Service Documentation Corrections form to either delete the row or to revert the final row to Draft.

  2. In the Allow Edit of Table Rows field, select Yes to allow an end-user to edit a row of data, by enabling the Edit button in the form pre-display.

  3. In the Track Edits of Table Rows field:

  • Select Yes to create a row of data in the form SQL table for every record submitted. 

  • Select No to store the form data edit history in the 'RADplus_audit_database_table' SQL table.
  1. In the Disable ‘Add’ button in Pre Display field, select Yes to prevent a end-user from adding a row of data by disabling the Add button in the form pre-display.

  2. In the Table Pre Display Order field:

  • Select Most Recent Last to display the most recently filed rows last in the pre-display.
  • Select Most Recent First to display the most recently filed rows first in the pre-display.
  1. In the Omit Table Rows Which are Marked as Final field, select Yes to remove DCI rows marked Final from the pre-display. This field applies to forms with workflow functionality.

  2. In the Default In All or Selected Table Columns field, select All Columns to populate information from all table columns in the form, when Add New Item is clicked. 
  • Select Selected Columns to include information from specific columns (Table Columns to Default field). Columns not selected have no information populate when the form is opened.
  • In the Table Columns to Default field, select the columns to populate in the pre-display.
  1. Click Submit.
