Define Menu Item

Open programs, and website links from an application menu.

1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > Menu Manager > Define Menu Item
2. In the Create New or Update Existing field:
   • Select Create New to open a program or website link.
   • Select Update Existing to modify a menu item.
3. In the Menu Item Type field:
   • Select Program Call to open a program from a menu (Program Call Path field).
   • Select Web Address to add a website link to a menu (Web Address field).
4. In the Menu Item Description field, enter the menu item title description.
5. In the Existing Menu Item field, select the menu item.
6. In the Program Call Path field, type a new program directory path or, click Browse to locate an existing program.
   Result: An Open dialog displays. Choose the program and click Ok.
7. In the 'Parameter' fields, enter parameters to be run when the program is opened.
8. In the Web Address field, enter the site address.
9. In the Menu to Place Form Under field, select the menu to place the form. The Current Order field displays the menu heading order.
10. In the Order field, select the menu position. Menu positions are numbered. Selecting a different number changes the menu order.
11. Click Print Current Menu to generate a report of myAvatar form menus.
12. Click Submit.
