Quick Billing Group Definition Section - PM

Within the Quick Billing Rule Definition form, you can define a quick billing group.

  1. In the Add New Or Edit Existing Group Definition field, select Add New to add a new quick billing group, or select Edit Existing to edit an existing quick billing group.
    • If adding a rule, in the Quick Billing Rule Group Description field, enter the quick billing rule group title.
    • If editing a rule, in the Quick Billing Rule Group field, select the quick billing group.
  2. In the Active field, select Yes if the rule group is active or select No to deactivate the quick billing group.
  3. Click Print Quick Billing Rule Group Definitions to generate a report that lists quick billing rule group definitions.
  4. In the Billing Rules To Execute field, select quick billing rules (set up in the Quick Billing Rule Definition section).
  5. The Order Of Execution field displays the order the quick billing rules will execute when a bill is compiled in the Quick Billing form.
  6. Click Clear Order to remove the quick billing order of execution.
  7. Submit the changes.

Scheduler Options

  1. In the Add Rule Group to Scheduler field, select Yes to add the quick billing group to the scheduler. This adds a task to the System Task Scheduler form.
  2. Enter the Claim From Date based on any timely filing limits.
  3. Select the Tasks to Execute for automation.
  4. Choose the Claim Through Date option:
    • Current Date
    • Last Day of Previous Month
    • Specify Number of Days Prior to Current Date - when this is selected, the Claim Through Date For Scheduled Batch field becomes available and required.
  5. Optionally, depending on billing frequency, enter the number of hours in the Execute Liability Update If It Has Not Run Within The Last field.
  6. Optionally, enter any Email Address(es) to Send Notifications. This field stores the email address to use to send notifications that the nightly processes have been completed and produces reports for review.
    Note: The form System Generated Email Settings must be completed for email notifications to be sent successfully.
    • Multiple email addresses can be entered by separating them with commas.
  7. Submit the changes.
