Liability Assignment By Guarantor Section - PM

Assign the highest service liability amount for the associated guarantors.

  • Maximum liability assignment does not affect a service’s total charge.

  • The File Import form can be used to import liability assignments. When imported, the definitions can be edited in this form.

  1. In the Service Code field, enter the service code and select a value from the Results list.

  2. In the Financial Class field, select the financial classes.
     The selections made in this field control which guarantors display in the Guarantor field. Guarantors associated with the financial classes display in the Guarantor field.

  3. In the Guarantor field, select the guarantors.

  4. In the Effective Date field enter the first date for the liability.

  5. In the Maximum Amount To Distribute Per Service field, enter the maximum liability per service.

  6. In the Amount to Distribute Per Unit field, set the distribution amount per unit for the guarantor.

  7. In the Update Liabilities field, select Yes to update liability for services that match the settings made in this form.

  8. Click Print Fee Information For Service Code to generate the Maximum Liability Assignment By Guarantor report, which details information entered in this form.

  9. Click the File Information button to record the changes.

  10. Click the Delete Information button to remove the fee information from the system.
