Delete Service (Open Service Only) - PM

Delete a posted service for a client. This applies to open services. To delete a service in any other status, use the Delete Service form.

Warning: This form should ONLY be used when an open service was entered in error. Services with a transaction posted (transfers, payments, or adjustments) will not show up in the form.


  1. Go to: Avatar PM > System Maintenance > Client Maintenance > Delete Service (Open Service Only)
  2. In the Client ID field, enter the client name/ID and select a value from the Results list.
  3. In the Start Date field, enter the start date for services to display in the Delete Service screen.
  4. In the End Date field, enter the end date for services to display in the Delete Service screen.
  5. In the Claim Number field, select the claim number to filter services by.
  6. Select Display Client to display the Service Delete screen. Choose services to delete, select OK.
  7. Select Delete.
    Result: The confirmation screen displays a summary of the charges to be deleted.
  8. Select OK to process the deletion.
