Reason codes are set up in the Dictionary Update form (Order Entry Tabled Files - data element 504).

This dictionary has the following extended data elements:

  • 507 - Require Reason Text With This Reason Code
  • 511 - Include Pain Scale in myAvatar eMAR
  • 532 - Restrict this Reason Code to these Order Types
