Set up Observer console widget

Observer is designed as a widget that must be added as a new console view in View Definition.

Note: The recommendation is to have a console view that contains only the Observer widget. Do not include the client information header in the Observer view.

Prerequisite:

Set the Enable Observer Console registry setting value to 'Y'

Go to RADplus Utilities > Widget Management > View Definition.
Choose Select View.
Choose Add New View at the top of the list and select OK.
Enter OBSERVER for the View ID.
Enter Observer for the View Description.
Select Home View for the View Type.
Select No for Allow User To Customize View.
Select Launch View Designer.
Enter observer in the filter for Available Widgets.
Select Observer (NTST_OBSERVER).
Select the right angle bracket > symbol.
Drag and drop Observer (NTST_OBSERVER) from the Assigned Widgets to the layout.
Select Submit.
Select Submit.
