Import a group data file.

Prerequisites:

The imported file should be a .txt file, using tab-delimited fields.

Click Select Data Import File.
An Open dialog displays. Navigate to the file, click Open.
Click Review Import Data.
In the Successful Or Rejected Records field, select to display the information imported:

Select Successful to display correctly imported records.
Select Rejected to display records that have not been imported due to error.
Select Both to display correctly imported and rejected records.

Click File Import Data.

Note: If your facility is using Netsmart ProviderConnect, importing authorization groups can be verified in the ProviderConnect Service Authorization form.

Group Import File Format

This import can support up to 40 definitions.

Authorization Grouping	Yes	Free text	Name of the authorization group. Must begin with an uppercase letter. If the group already exists in the system or in the file, the record will not be processed
Effective Date	Conditional	Date	This field is required if the "Avatar MSO -> System Maintenance -> Authorization Grouping Definition ->->-> Enable Effective Date" registry setting is set to "Y". This field will be ignored if the registry setting is set to "N" and it is present in the file. In the MMDDYYYY format.
