Routing Status Definition

Avatar PM > RADplus Utilities > Document Routing > Routing Status Definition

Statuses represent the state of a document in the current queue.

Statuses may change when an Action or an Assignment takes place (See Routing Action Definition and Routing Assignment Definition). For example, they may represent that a document has just entered a queue, is in process, is parked (paused), is awaiting a query response, etc. These statuses are user-defined by an agency based upon workflow needs.

Key Fields
Field Notes
Maximum # of Items This number represents how many documents may exist at once for a given user, queue, and status.

If a status change occurs that would place the number of documents above this threshold, an error will be presented to the user to indicate it. If no value is indicated, then there is no limit.

Errors can be tracked in DocR.assiggment_tracking_table_date.
Is this a ‘Save for Later’ Status? One the status for the selected queue may be optionally marked as a Save for Later status.

In the Document Worklist Item form (when the user selects Save for Later) the document will change to this status. This is useful for changing a document’s status to indicate that it is in process.

Note: You can only delete a row in the grid if you have not submitted the form. You can make a routing status inactive if you no longer wish to utilize it.
