POS Scanning Setup

Prerequisite:

  • The scanner must be TWAIN, Pixel, or Kofax compliant.

  1. In the POS form, choose the File menu and choose Select Scanner.
  2. Choose the Document Management scanner, click Select.
  3. Choose myAvatar connection info.

  • In the Caché Server field, enter the Caché server name.
  • In the Caché Namespace field, enter the Cache namespace.
  • If appropriate, click Display Advanced Settings.
  • In the Web Service URL field, enter the Document Management Web service address.
  1. Click Save.

    Note: The Web service is set up by a Netsmart system administrator.
