Client Charge Input - Cal-PM

Enter services (charges) for a client.

  • Entering a service posts the service fee to the client ledger, and adds the services to the client’s treatment history.

The Cost Of Service field can be edited in the Client Charge Input (Charge Fee Access), and the Client Charge Input (Charge Fee Access and Diagnosis Entry) forms.

  1. In the Date Of Service field, enter the service date.

  2. In the Client ID field, enter the client name, click the Search button, and select the corresponding entry.

  3. In the Episode Number field, select the client episode.

  4. In the Program field, select the client program.

  5. In the Service Code field, enter the service code, click the Search button, and select the corresponding entry.
    The service must be required by a client, or a client and practitioner (Service Required By field, Service Codes form).

  6. In the Practitioner field, enter the practitioner name, click the Search button, and select the corresponding entry.

  7. Click Display Managed Care Authorization Data. The Managed Care Authorization Data screen displays managed care authorizations for the client, service code, and date of service.

  8. In the Duration (Minutes) field, enter the service duration.

  9. In the Location field, select the service location.

  10. In the Co-Practitioner field, enter the practitioner name, click the Search button, and select the corresponding entry.

  11. In the Co-Practitioner Duration (Minutes) field, enter the service duration.

  12. In the Co-Practitioner 2 field, enter the co staff member, click the Search button, and select the corresponding entry.

  13. In the Co-Practitioner 2 Duration (Minutes) field, enter the service duration.

  14. The Cost of Service displays the service fee, setup in the Service Codes, and Service Fee Maintenance forms.

  15. In the Evidence-Based Practices / Service Strategies (CSI) field, select the service strategies. This field provides additional service information.

  16. In the Additional Service Information field, select the applicable codes.

  17. In the Psychotherapy Add-On Duration field, enter the add-on duration in minutes.

  18. In the Add-On Notes field, enter any additional information related to the add-on.

  19. Click Submit.
