Cal billing units:

  • Are used for services in a DMH program.
  • The service duration is calculated by adding all practitioner durations.
  • Are computed by adding the practitioner durations for the service, then dividing by the number of clients in the group.
  • If the service is a group service, the sum of the practitioner durations are divided by the number of members in the group.

Services must be defined as group services, or DMH Override For Group And Individual must be selected in the Apply Multiple Practitioner Calculations To This Service Using DMH Override For Group And Individual field (Service Codes form).
