Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Admission (Outpatient)
  • Alabama ASAIS File Creation
  • Alabama MRSIS ASAIS Screening\Assessment
  • Registry Settings (PM)
  • Alabama ASAIS Discharge Summary
Scenario 1: Alabama ASAIS File Creation - Compile data for 'Assessment' type
Specific Setup:
  • The Registry Setting 'Allow Spaces in Client Name' must be set to "Y".
  • A client (Client A) is enrolled in an existing episode and has the following:
  • 'Client First Name' = FIRST FIRST
  • 'Client Middle Name' = MIDDLE MIDDLE
  • 'Client Last Name' = LAST
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Alabama MRSIS ASAIS Screening\Assessment' form.
  2. Select "ASAIS" in the 'MRSIS or ASAIS' field.
  3. Select the desired episode.
  4. Select "Assessment" in the 'Review' field.
  5. Select desired value in 'Provider Id' field.
  6. Select desired value in 'Completed By' field.
  7. Populate all other required and desired fields.
  8. Click [Submit].
  9. Access the 'Alabama ASAIS File Creation' form.
  10. Select "Compile" in the 'Compile Dump Create' field.
  11. Select the value selected in the previous steps in the 'Provider Id' field.
  12. Selected the value selected in the previous steps in the 'Completed By' field.
  13. Select "Assessment" in the 'Type' field.
  14. Select "No" in the 'Mark As Sent' field.
  15. Enter the current date in the 'Through Date' field.
  16. Click [Process].
  17. Validate the "Compile Complete" message in the 'Processing Report' field and click [OK].
  18. Select "Dump" in the 'Compile Dump Create' field.
  19. Select the value selected in the previous steps in the 'Provider Id' field.
  20. Selected the value selected in the previous steps in the 'Completed By' field.
  21. Select "Assessment" in the 'Type' field.
  22. Select the compiled file in the previous steps in the 'Files' field.
  23. Select "Print" in the 'Print or Delete' field.
  24. Click [Process].
  25. Validate the file is displayed as expected.
  26. Validate the spaces in the 'Client First Name' and 'Client Middle Name' fields display properly for "Client A".
  27. Click [Close] and close the form.
Scenario 2: Alabama ASAIS File Creation - Compile data for 'Discharge' type
Specific Setup:
  • The Registry Setting 'Allow Spaces in Client Name' must be set to "Y".
  • A client (Client A) is enrolled in an existing episode and has the following:
  • 'Client First Name' = FIRST FIRST
  • 'Client Middle Name' = MIDDLE MIDDLE
  • 'Client Last Name' = LAST
  • "Client A" also has an existing assessment on file in the 'Alabama ASAIS Screening\Assessment Form'.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Alabama ASAIS Discharge Summary' form.
  2. Select the desired assessment in the 'Discharge Which Assessment' field.
  3. Enter the current date in the 'Date of Discharge' field.
  4. Enter the current date in the 'Date of Last Contact' field.
  5. Select desired value in 'Provider Id' field.
  6. Select desired value in 'Completed By' field.
  7. Populate all other required and desired values.
  8. Click [Submit].
  9. Access the 'Alabama ASAIS File Creation' form.
  10. Select "Compile" in the 'Compile Dump Create' field.
  11. Select the value selected in the previous steps in the 'Provider Id' field.
  12. Selected the value selected in the previous steps in the 'Completed By' field.
  13. Select "Discharge" in the 'Type' field.
  14. Select "No" in the 'Mark As Sent' field.
  15. Enter the current date in the 'Through Date' field.
  16. Click [Process].
  17. Validate the "Compile Complete" message in the 'Processing Report' field and click [OK].
  18. Select "Dump" in the 'Compile Dump Create' field.
  19. Select the value selected in the previous steps in the 'Provider Id' field.
