Claim Follow-Up Productivity Report
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Claim Follow-Up Productivity Report
  • Crystal Report Viewer
  • Client Ledger
  • Financial Eligibility
  • Unbilled Services Report
Scenario 1: 'Claim Follow-Up Productivity' Report
Specific Setup:
  • Claim follow-up notes are created in AR console. Note the follow-up notes created, date when the note created, name of the user in the AR Console.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Claim Follow-Up Productivity Report' form.
  2. Select 'Summary Report' in the 'Summary or Detail Report' field.
  3. Leave the 'User' field blank.
  4. Enter the desired dates in the 'Start Date' and 'End Date' fields.
  5. Process the report.
  6. Validate the 'User' field correctly displays all the user information.
  7. Validate the '# of Claim Follow-Up Notes Entered' field correctly displays the number of notes entered by specific user.
  8. Close the report.
  9. Return to the form.
  10. Select desired user in the 'User' field.
  11. Process the report.
  12. Validate the 'User' field correctly displays the user information of the selected user.
  13. Validate the '# of Claim Follow-Up Notes Entered' field correctly displays the number of notes entered by that user.
  14. Close the report.
  15. Return to the form.
  16. Select 'Detail report' in the 'Summary or Detail Report' field.
  17. Leave the 'User' field blank.
  18. Enter the desired dates in the 'Start Date' and 'End Date' fields.
  19. Process the report.
  20. Validate the report displays correct claim follow-up information for all users.
  21. Verify the 'Client' column contains entire name of the client and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  22. Verify the 'Claim#' column contains correct claim number of the client and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  23. Verify the 'Guarantor' column contains entire name of the guarantor and it does not overlap to the content of the 'Follow-Up Note Entry Date' column.
  24. Verify the 'Follow-Up Note Entry Date' column contains correct date and it does not overlap to the content of the 'Follow-Up Status' column.
  25. Verify the 'Follow-Up Status' column contains correct status of the note as entered in AR console and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  26. Verify the 'Next Follow-Up Date' column contains correct date and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  27. Verify the 'Completion Date' column contains correct completion date and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  28. Validate the 'Follow-Up Note' field displays text as entered in 'AR Console'.
  29. Close the report.
  30. Return to the form.
  31. Select 'Detail report' in the 'Summary or Detail Report' field.
  32. Select desired user in the 'User' field.
  33. Enter the desired dates in the 'Start Date' and 'End Date' fields.
  34. Process the report.
  35. Validate the report displays correct claim follow-up information only for the selected user.
  36. Verify the 'Client' column contains entire name of the client and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  37. Verify the 'Claim#' column contains correct claim number of the client and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  38. Verify the 'Guarantor' column contains entire name of the guarantor and it does not overlap to the content of the 'Follow-Up Note Entry Date' column.
  39. Verify the 'Follow-Up Note Entry Date' column contains correct date and it does not overlap to the content of the 'Follow-Up Status' column.
  40. Verify the 'Follow-Up Status' column contains correct status of the note as entered in AR console and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  41. Verify the 'Next Follow-Up Date' column contains correct date and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  42. Verify the 'Completion Date' column contains correct completion date and it does not overlap to the content of the next column.
  43. Validate the 'Follow-Up Note' field displays text as entered in 'AR Console'.
  44. Close the report.
  45. Close the form.
Scenario 2: 'Client Ledger' report - validate fields have no overlaps
Specific Setup:
  • Client with a Guarantor and Services filed (Client A).
Steps
  1. Open the 'Client Ledger' form.
  2. Select desired client in the 'Client ID' field.
  3. Select ‘All Episodes’ in the 'Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  4. Select ‘Crystal’ in the 'Ledger Type' field.
  5. Click [Process].
  6. Review the 'Client Account Ledger' report.
  7. Verify the 'Service Description' field does not overlap with 'Units' field.
  8. Verify 'Guarantor Name' field does not overlap with 'Guarantor Liability' field.
  9. Validate the 'Line Balance' field does not cut off.
  10. Close the report.
  11. Open the 'Client Ledger' form.
  12. Select desired client in the 'Client ID' field.
  13. Select ‘All Episodes’ in the 'Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  14. Select ‘Simple’ in the 'Ledger Type' field.
  15. Click [Process].
  16. Review the report.
  17. Verify the 'Service Description' field does not overlap with 'Units' field.
  18. Verify 'Guarantor' field does not overlap with 'Guarantor Liability' field.
  19. Validate the 'Line Balance' field is not cut off.
  20. Close the report.
Scenario 3: 'Unbilled Services Report' - validate fields have no overlaps
Steps
  1. Access the 'Unbilled Services Report' form.
  2. Set 'Service Start Date' to any date where services were rendered.
  3. Set 'Service End Date' to any date to include services.
  4. Select ‘All’ in the 'Financial Class(es)' field.
  5. Select ‘All’ in the 'Program(s)' field.
  6. Select ‘All’ in the 'Service Status' field.
  7. Select ‘No’ in the 'Include 0 Liability' field.
  8. Click [Process].
  9. Review the report and note the following:
  10. Verify the value of the 'Guarantor' field does not overlap to the 'FE Expired?' field.
  11. Verify that the Guarantor name wraps, if necessary, to prevent overlapping other fields.
  12. Close the report.
  13. Close the form.
