Product Update Description

Avatar Order Entry is enhanced to support putting orders on hold when a client goes on leave via Avatar PM's 'Leaves' form. This is accomplished via the "Hold" selection in the 'Discontinue or Hold Orders Upon Leave' extended attribute off of the 'Type of Leave From' dictionary in Avatar PM (Client File, data element 757). Please note: Avatar PM 2024 Update 36 or Avatar Cal-PM 2024 Update 38 is required for full functionality. In addition, the following issues are resolved: 1) Orders automatically discontinued via client discharge or leave are given a 'Discontinue Effective Date' and 'Discontinue Effective Time' that reflects when the discharge or leave was filed, rather than the 'Date of Discharge' / 'Discharge Time' or the 'Leave Date' / 'Leave Time' that is indicated when filing the discharge or leave. 2) A client's 'Admission Medication Reconciliation' and 'Discharge Medication Reconciliation' data are not updated when using the 'Change MR#', 'Client Merge', or 'Client Delete' forms.
