OE NX – Order Entry Console – Order Guidelines
The Order Entry Console (Orders This Episode and Admission Med Reconciliation sections) is enhanced to display the 'Order Guidelines' that might be defined for an 'Order Code'. A "G" icon is displayed in the list of existing client orders ('Order Details' column), in the 'Order Details' panel, and in the Scratchpad, when the selected 'Order Code' has 'Order Guidelines' defined. In addition, the beginning of the 'Order Guidelines' are displayed (to the extent that space is available) next to the "G" icon that might be shown near the top of the 'Order Details' panel. This functionality can be enabled via the new registry setting 'Display Order Guidelines in Order Entry Console or eMAR'. Please note that this new feature is available only in Avatar NX, and that an Avatar NX Release is also required in order to make use of this functionality.
