Specific Setup:
- Latest Monthly Release is installed.
Steps
- Open the "Product Updates" form.
- Select the appropriate [Namespace] from the Application dropdown list
- Click [Select Update/Customization Pack].
- Browse to the location for the updates and select the Update 1.
- Click [OK] on the "File Upload Complete" window.
- Click [Review Update/Customization Pack Contents].
- Verify Update 1 is included.
- Click [Install Update/Customization Pack].
- Click [OK] when the install completes.
- Click [Close Form].

Scenario 1: OE NX - Home Medication - Notify Attending Practitioner
Specific Setup:
- The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Medication Reconciliation->->->Prevent Admission Med Reconciliation if med history not completed on Home Meds' registry setting must be set to "Y".
- The 'Default to Client Reported in Home Medications' field in the 'Order Entry User Definition' form or the 'Order Entry User Role' form must have "Client Reported" checked.
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
- Two users must exist in the application that have staff members associated to them. (User A and User B)
- Must be logged in as "User A".
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Create a 'Reported' order.
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains the 'Reported' order.
- Check the 'Medication history reviewed and completed for Episode #' checkbox and click [Notify Attending Practitioner].
- Validate the 'Notify Attending Practitioner' dialog is displayed.
- Validate "Client A" and the episode number are displayed.
- Validate the 'Practitioner' field contains the staff member associated with "User A".
- Validate the 'Communication Note' field contains "Medication history complete for "Client A" Episode # [Episode Number] - Please complete Admission Med Reconciliation."
- Add "Testing" to the end of the value in the 'Communication Note' field.
- Click [Send Notification].
- Access 'myDay'.
- Access the 'My To Do's' widget.
- Click the 'To Do' menu and validate the 'To Do's' are displayed.
- Select "Days in Queue" in the 'Sort By' field.
- Validate "Client A" is displayed at the top of the 'Entered Queue - Today' column for the current date.
- Validate the 'To Do' contains "User A", who is associated with the 'Practitioner' selected in the 'Notify Attending Practitioner' field.
- Click 'Review To Do Item'.
- Validate the 'To do information' field contains the "User A", who is associated with the 'Practitioner' selected in the 'Notify Attending Practitioner' dialog and "Medication history complete for "Client A" Episode # [Episode Number] - Please complete Admission Med Reconciliation. Testing".
- Check the 'Reviewed' checkbox.

Specific Setup:
- Validate that "Client Reported" is checked in the 'Default to Client Reported in Home Medications' field in the 'Order Entry User Definition' form.
- The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Client Profile->->->Do NOT require 'Days Supply' in the Order Entry Console' registry setting must be set to "HM". This is the default value. Note: This is a Netsmart staff only registry setting, please contact your Netsmart representative to have this setting configured to a different value.
- The 'Avatar PM->Client Information->Client Demographics->->->Age Display Format' registry setting must be set to "1", which is to not show a more detailed age.
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A frequency code must exist. (Frequency Code A)
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Diagnosis’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Order Entry Console'.
- Select 'Home Medications'.
- Validate that "No selected pharmacy" and 'Change' with a search icon is displayed before the OrderConnect links.
- Click 'Change'.
- Validate that a 'Pharmacy Search' dialog is displayed.
- Set the 'Keyword' field to the name of a pharmacy that needs to be searched for.
- Ensure that the search criteria reads: Search Within "All" miles of "Patient Home".
- Click [Search]
- Validate that results are displayed.
- Select any pharmacy and click [Select & Make Preferred].
- Validate that the value selected now appears before 'Change' in the format of "Pharmacy Name - Address - Phone Number".
- Uncheck the 'Client Reported' checkbox.
- Set the 'New Order' field to "Xyrem 500 MG/1 ML Solution Oral (Schedule III)".
- Set the 'Dose' field to "1".
- Validate that the 'Dose Unit' field contains "Milliliter".
- Select 'Frequency Code A' from the 'Frequency' field.
- Select any value in the 'Diagnosis' field.
- Validate that 'Refills' contains "0".
- Validate that the 'Days Supply' field is not required and enabled.
- Set the 'Days Supply' field to "30"
- Validate that the 'Dispense Qty' field contains "30".
- Select "Milliliter" in the 'Dispense Qty Unit' field.

- Avatar OE 2023 Update 8, Avatar CareFabric 2023 Update 9, and Avatar NX Release 2023.03.00 are required in order to utilize full functionality.
- The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Client Profile->->->Enable Supplemental Diagnoses for Lab Orders in OE Console (Orders This Episode)' registry setting must be set to "Y".
- A lab-type order code must have an external lab vendor selected in the 'External Lab Definition' portion of the 'Order Code Setup' form. (Complete Blood Count)
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A client must have an active inpatient episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.

- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search for and select "Order Code A" in the 'New Order' field.
- Set the 'Dose' field to "1" and select "Capsule" from the 'Dose Unit' field.
- Validate the "Start Date/Time' fields are hidden.
- Validate the 'Stop Date/Time' fields are hidden.

- Click [OK] and validate that 'Give Initial Dose Now' [Yes] is not pressed.
- Click 'Give Initial Dose Now' [Yes].
- Validate a warning message is displayed stating: 'Hours of Administration' and 'Give Initial Dose Now' cannot both be specified for an order created in "Pre-Admit mode". 'Hours of Administration' will be cleared."
- Click [OK].
- Click [Custom], validate there are no values listed under 'Scheduled Administration Times' and click [Cancel].
- Set the 'Duration' field to "1" and click [Days].
- Click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains "01/01/2099".
- Validate the 'Stop Date' field contains "01/01/2099".
- Select "Order Code A" from the scratchpad.
- Validate that 'Give Initial Dose Now' [Yes] is pressed.
- Validate that 'Give Initial Dose Now' [Yes] is enabled.
- Click [Cancel] and then [Sign].
Order Entry Console - Order Validation - iButton
Scenario 1: OE NX - Orders This Episode - New Order (by Nurse who requires validation), Validation by Prescriber
Specific Setup:
- The 'RADplus->General->->->->Default Value for Console View Episodes' registry setting must be set to "1". NOTE: This is a Netsmart Staff only registry setting. Please contact your Netsmart representative to have this setting configured.
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- Two users must exist in the application: One whose actions require validation (User A) and One whose actions do not require Validation (User B).
- A client must have an active episode whose program or unit are configured in the 'External Pharmacy Setup' form. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
- "User A" must be logged into the application.
Steps
- Select "Client A”.
- Validate the 'Header Episode' field contains "All Episodes".

- The logged in user must both require validation and must be allowed to validate orders.
- A client must have an inpatient episode whose program or unit are configured in the ‘External Pharmacy Setup’ form. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A", access the Order Entry Console, and plug in the iButton.
- Search for and select "TYLENOL (ACETAMINOPHEN) 325 MG CAPSULE, LIQUID FILLED ORAL" from the 'New Order' field.
- Populate all required fields and click [Add to Scratchpad], [Final Review], and [Sign].
- Select the "Tylenol" order created from the 'Order grid' and click [Validate].
- Validate the "Tylenol" order has been validated.
- Search for and select "PREDNISONE 1 MG TABLET ORAL" from the 'New Order' field.

- Unplug the iButton.

- Open the pdf and validate that the 'Administration Record - 7 day grid' report is displayed and contains the following:
- Validate all clients are in one file and that they are in alphabetical order by client's last name, first name across all units selected.
- Validate the 'PRINTED DATE/TIME' field contains the date and time the report was created. The time will be in whichever format was selected in the 'Printed Time Format (Supported forms Only)' field on the 'Order Entry Forms Definition' form.
- Validate the 'D.O.B' field contains the Client's Date Of Birth.
- Validate the 'PAGE' field contains "Page # of #", and that it will reset for each client. If a client has multiple pages of orders it will read "Page 1 of # of total pages" and then for the next client it will return to "Page 1 of 1".

- Open one of the pdf's and validate that the 'Administration Record - 1 Day' report is displayed and contains the following:
- Validate that the pdf will contain all clients in that program sorted in alphabetical order by client's last name, first name.
- Validate the 'PRINTED DATE/TIME' field contains the date and time the report was created. The time will be in whichever format was selected in the 'Printed Time Format (Supported forms Only)' field on the 'Order Entry Forms Definition' form.
- Validate the 'D.O.B' field contains the Client's Date Of Birth.

- Validate that the pdf for programs will contain all client in that program sorted in alphabetical order by client's last name, first name.

Specific Setup:
- An active definition must exist in the 'Order Entry Forms Definition' form for the "Administration Record (Alternate Format 1)" that is configured with the following:
- 'Form Description' and 'Form Title To Be Printed' = "Administration Record - Alternate"
- 'Order Types To Be Included' = all values selected.
- 'Printed Time Format (Supported forms Only)' = "Military".
- 'Include Routine / PRN / STAT/ Other' = all values checked.
- 'Include Orders That Require Validation' = "Yes"
- 'Include Expired Orders' = "No".
- 'Include Future-Start Orders' = "No"

- An active configuration must exist for the 'Administration Record' in the 'eMAR Downtime Automation' form that fits the following criteria:

- The 'RADplus Install Configuration' form must contain an active server configuration for the cache server where the application resides that uses the 'NX URL'. This is a CSMPROG only form and will be configured by a Netsmart Representative.

Adult S.A._2023-05-30_1039_Administration Record - Alternate).
- Open one of the pdf's and validate that the 'Administration Record - Alternate' report is displayed and contains the following:
- Validate that the pdf for units will contain all clients in that unit and then sorted in Room/Bed order.
- Validate that the pdf for programs will contain all client in that program sorted in alphabetical order by client's last name, first name.
- Validate the 'PRINTED DATE/TIME' field contains the date and time the report was created. The time will be in whichever format was selected in the 'Printed Time Format (Supported forms Only)' field on the 'Order Entry Forms Definition' form.

- Access the 'Order Entry Forms Printing' form.
- Select the 'Administration Record - 7 Day' form created above and select to sort clients alphabetically by client name and click [Print Forms].
- Validate the 'Administration Record - 7 Day' report is printed with clients listed in alphabetical order by last name and includes separate pages for each client.

Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Create an order for "ADVIL 200 MG ORAL TABLET" for "2 Tablets, Twice A Day".
- Access the 'Launch RxConnect' form and click [Launch RxConnect].
- Process the order that was created for "Client A".
- Access the 'Order Entry Forms Definition' form.
- Create a form for the 'Alternate Record (7 Day grid Alternate Format)'.
- Access the 'Order Entry Forms Printing' form.
- Select the form created above, select the unit that "Client A" is associated with and select "Client A" and click [Print Forms].

- Please make note of the "Order #" for each order.
- Ensure the Inbound Lab Results file has the appropriate segments populated.
- Access 'Results Importing' and enter a file path that points to the location of the file that will be imported.
- Click [Import], receive an 'Import Complete' message and click [OK].
- Validate a 'Results Importing' report is displayed with "Successfully Filed: 1".
- Click [Close Report] and close the form.
- Access the Order Entry Console and validate there are no orders in the 'Order grid'.
- Change the 'Order Status' to "Discontinued" and validate that all 3 lab orders are displayed with an 'Order Status' of "Completed(Completed automatically upon receipt of results)".
- Click [View] in the 'Last Activity' column for each order and validate it includes the results for each order.
Scenario 2: OE NX - Create a lab order, create a result with multiple details, delete one detail and delete header
Specific Setup:
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Create a lab order.
- Access the 'Results Entry' form and select the order created.
- Create a header for the order.
- Click the 'Result Details' tab and create two details associated with the header.
- Remain on the 'Result Details' tab and delete one of the details created.
- Click on the 'Result Main' tab and delete the header associated with the order.
- Validate all results are deleted.
