Product Update Form Description

The following issues are resolved: 1) The issue in the 'Supervisor Report' section of the 'Incident Data Form' form that may prevent the 'Comments' field from being cleared when the 'Initial Approve/Deny' field is changed from 'Deny' to 'Approve'. 2) The 'User To Send To Do Item To' field in the 'Administrator/Unit Manager Report' section of the 'Incident Data Form' form is removed to be consistent with the current functionality of this section.

Ensure the 'Comments' field in the "Supervisor Report" section of the 'Incident Data Form' is cleared and disabled when the 'Initial Approve/Deny' field is changed from "Deny" to "Approve".
In addition, the 'User To Send To Do Item To' field has been removed from the "Administrator/Unit Manager Report" section of the 'Incident Data Form' to be consistent with the current functionality of this section.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Crystal Report Viewer
  • Incident Data Form
  • Incidents Report
Scenario 1: Incident Data Form - Field validations and workflow
Specific Setup:
  • Multiple users will be needed to fully test this functionality:
  • "User 1" will be the user entering the Incident in the system.
  • "User 2" will be the "Supervisor"
  • "User 3" will be the "Administrator"
  • Must be logged in as "User 1" initially.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Incident Data Form' form.
  2. Select "Add" in the 'Add, Edit, or Void' field.
  3. Take note of the unique ID populated in the 'Unique Incident ID#' field. This field is disabled and will automatically be incremented each time the form is opened for a new incident.
  4. Validate the 'Select Incident' field is disabled.
  5. Select the desired value in the 'Location' field.
  6. Enter the desired date/time in the 'Date of Incident' and 'Time of Incident' fields.
  7. Validate the 'Reported By' field contains the ID of "User 1". This field is disabled and display only.
  8. Select the desired value in the 'Shift' field.
  9. Select "User 2" in the 'User To Send To Do Item To' field.
  10. Select the desired value in the 'Incident Type' field.
  11. Select the desired value in the 'Location of Incident' field.
  12. Enter the desired value in the 'Unit Census' field.
  13. Enter the desired value in the 'Number of Staff' field.
  14. Populate any desired fields.
  15. Click [Submit].
  16. Log in as "User 2".
  17. Access the 'Incident Data Form' form.
  18. Select "Edit" in the 'Add, Edit, or Void' field.
  19. Select the incident filed in the previous steps in the 'Select Incident' field.
  20. Select the "Supervisor Report" section.
  21. Select "Approve" in the 'Initial Approve/Deny' field.
  22. Validate the 'Investigative Findings', 'Supervisor Report' and 'User To Send To Do Item To' fields are now required.
  23. Validate the 'Comments' field is disabled.
  24. Enter the desired value in the 'Investigative Findings' field.
  25. Enter the desired value in the 'Supervisor Report' field.
  26. Enter "User 3" in the 'User To Send To Do Item To' field.
  27. Select "Deny" in the 'Initial Approve/Deny' field.
  28. Validate the 'Investigative Findings', 'Supervisor Report' and 'User To Send To Do Item To' fields are now disabled and have been cleared.
  29. Validate the 'Comments' field is enabled.
  30. Enter the desired value in the 'Comments' field.
  31. Select "Approve" in the 'Initial Approve/Deny' field.
  32. Validate the 'Comments' field is now disabled and has been cleared.
  33. Validate the 'Investigative Findings', 'Supervisor Report' and 'User To Send To Do Item To' fields are now enabled and required.
  34. Enter the desired value in the 'Investigative Findings' field.
  35. Enter the desired value in the 'Supervisor Report' field.
  36. Enter "User 3" in the 'User To Send To Do Item To' field.
  37. Click [Submit].
  38. Log in as "User 3".
  39. Access the 'Incident Data Form' form.
  40. Select "Edit" in the 'Add, Edit, or Void' field.
  41. Select the incident filed in the previous steps in the 'Select Incident' field.
  42. Select the "Administrator/Unit Manager" section.
  43. Enter the desired value in the 'Administrator/Unit Manager Report' field.
  44. Enter the desired value in the 'Investigative Findings' field.
  45. Validate the 'Administrator/Unit Manager' field is disabled and contains the user ID for "User 3".
  46. Select the desired value in the 'Factors Contributing to Incident' field.
  47. Select "Approve" in the 'Initial Section Approve/Deny' field.
  48. Select "Approve" in the 'Supervisor Section Approve/Deny' field.
  49. Validate the 'User To Send To Do Item To' is not displayed.
  50. Select "Final" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
  51. Click [Submit].
  52. Access the 'Incidents Report' form.
  53. Select the incident that was just filed in the 'Select Incident' field.
  54. Click [Print Report].
  55. Validate the 'Incidents Report' is displayed.
  56. Validate the incident data displays as it was entered.
  57. Close the report and the form.
