Admission and Update Client Data forms additional patient information will be included in outbound HL7 messages.
The Admission form has an option under Client Demographics to enter text for Personal Pronouns. The Update Client Data form also contains the field to update Personal Pronouns as well as dropdown options to select Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation. This data will be added to the outbound message for consumption by receiving systems.
Value Added: Additional patient information is available.

An issue is resolved where a dietary order message could include the literal string 'null' as a dietary restriction.

Outbound HL7 ADT message
The logic used to determine the episode number to include in an HL7 update message (A08) for non-episodic filings (e.g. Update Client Data) is not recognizing movements (e.g. admits, transfers, etc.) that are later than 07/04/2023. This could result in either the HL7 update message being tied to an older, possibly inactive episode or no update message at all.
