Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Data Trail Configuration
Scenario 1: Validate 'Data Trail Configuration' submission.
Specific Setup:
  • The "Avatar Data Trail" module is installed and updated with the latest updates
  • [UserA] has access to one or more tables in form "User Definition". For this test tables "SYSTEM.admission_data", "SYSTEM.episode_history", "SYSTEM.cw_patient_notes" and "SYSTEM.call_intake_history" are used
Steps
  1. Open 'Data Trail Configuration'.
  2. Click [Select Tables To Audit].
  3. In the "Table" tree listing
  4. Select only tables "SYSTEM.admission_data", SYSTEM.episode_history", "SYSTEM.cw_patient_notes" and do not select "SYSTEM.call_intake_histrory"
  5. Click [OK].
  6. Click [Submit]
  7. Open 'Data Trail Configuration'.
  8. Select "Table" in the "Sort Report by" field
  9. Click [Run Report]
  10. Validate the "Data Trail Configuration" report is displayed
  11. In the main section of the report, search the list for the "SYSTEM.admission_data" table
  12. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "Y" for the table
  13. Search the list for the "SYSTEM.episode_history" table
  14. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "Y" for the table
  15. Search the list for the "SYSTEM.cw_patient_notes" table
  16. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "Y" for the table
  17. Search the list for the "SYSTEM.call_intake_histrory" table
  18. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "N" for the table, as the table was not selected in step 3
  19. Search for any other table in the list
  20. Validate for any other table, the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "N" for that table, as they were not selected in step 3
  21. Close the report
  22. Select "Option" in the "Sort Report by" field
  23. Click [Run Report]
  24. Validate the "Data Trail Configuration" report is displayed
  25. In the main section of the report, search the list for the "SYSTEM.admission_data" table
  26. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "Y" for the table
  27. Search the list for the "SYSTEM.episode_history"
  28. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "Y" for the table
  29. Search the list for the "SYSTEM.cw_patient_notes"
  30. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "Y" for the table
  31. Search the list for the "SYSTEM.call_intake_histrory" table
  32. Validate the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "N" for the table, as the table was not selected in step 3
  33. Search for any other table in the list
  34. Validate for any other table, the "Audited Y/N" column indicates "N" for that table, as they were not selected in step 3
