Cal-OMS Youth/Detox Discharge

The registry setting 'Enable LA County Reporting Requirements' is updated to enable/disable the 'Discharge Processed Date' field in the 'Cal-OMS Youth/Detox Discharge' form.

In Provider Connect, customization was done for LA SAPC to add a field titled "Discharge Process Date" to the Cal-OMS Youth/Detox form. This field was never added to the Avatar Product forms. SAPC does have some reporting of this field and has been identified as a gap to resolve.

Value Added: Parity item for ProviderConnect to ProviderConnect NX.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Cal-OMS Youth/Detox Discharge
Registry Settings (PM)

Scenario 1: Verify submission of Cal-OMS Youth/Detox Discharge

Specific Setup:

Client A:
The client is 17 years old or younger and is enrolled in a Cal-OMS program.
The client has a 'Cal-OMS Admission' filed.
Registry setting:
The 'Enable LA County Reporting Requirements' is set to 'N'.

Steps

Open Avatar Cal-PM 'Cal-OMS Youth/Detox Discharge' form.
Select the Cal-OMS episode of 'Client A' from the Pre-Display.
Ensure the 'Discharge Process Date' field does not exist in the form.
Click [Discard].
Click [Yes].
Open 'Registry Settings'.
Search and select the 'Enable LA County Reporting Requirements' and set its value as 'Y'.
Click [Submit].
Click [OK].
Click [No].
Open Avatar Cal-PM 'Cal-OMS Youth/Detox Discharge' form.
Select the Cal-OMS episode of 'Client A' from the Pre-Display.
Ensure the 'Discharge Process Date' field is now present in the form.
Ensure that the 'Discharge Process Date' field is enabled.
Populate all required and desired fields.
Click [Submit].
Query the below Avatar Cal-PM SQL table, and verify that the 'Discharge Process Date' field is present and reflects data filed via the 'Cal-OMS Youth/Detox Discharge' form 'Discharge Process Date' field:
'cal_oms_discharge'.
