    An issue is resolved to ensure that Practitioner Category codes that contain more than five characters can be selected and processed correctly, and previously filed Practitioner Category codes are retained.
  • Financial Eligibility - Guarantor Selection
    An issue is resolved to ensure that the subsequent Guarantor Plan is not removed in the 'Financial Eligibility' form (Guarantor Selection section) after selecting a guarantor.

Product Update Description
The following issues are resolved: 1) Avatar is cutting off the Practitioner Category code in 'Service Fee/Cross Reference Maintenance' form at 5 digits. Any existing fee entries filed with an invalid practitioner category code is deleted. 2) Subsequent Guarantor Plan is removed in the 'Financial Eligibility' form (Guarantor Selection section) after selecting a guarantor.

  • AR Console - Claim Follow-Up Entry

    The Avatar Cal-PM 'Client Ledger' form and report are updated to display the Avatar MSO 'Allowed Amount' as cost of service for services originating in Avatar MSO with Other Healthcare Coverage information.

    The Avatar Cal-PM 'Enable CalAIM BH Payment Reforms' Registry Setting allows for the logic enabled through the 'Use the Medi-Cal Fee as The Usual & Customary Fee' and 'Enable SD/MC Minute to Unit Override' Registry Settings to no longer be evaluated for dates of service on or after the date specified.

    The 'Enable Client Alternate Addresses' registry setting is added. When enabled, a new form 'Client Alternate Addresses' will be added to the user menu. In addition, the 'Place Of Service (Mobile CareGiver+)' extended dictionary element is added to the 'Location' dictionary.
    Please note: Avatar Appointment Scheduling 2023 Update 15 and Avatar CareFabric 2023 Update 26 are required for full functionality.
