Product Update Description

The following issues are resolved: 1) An issue in 'Progress Notes Group and Individual' forms that may prevent 'Additional Form To Launch' event logic from functioning properly. 2) An issue that may occur when selecting the 'Select T.P. Item Note Addresses' grid field where the message 'Client ID missing' is incorrectly displayed.

Progress Notes - Event Logic
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Progress Notes (Group and Individual)
  • Update Client Data
  • Clinical Document Viewer
  • Dictionary Update (CWS)
  • Form and Table Documentation (CWS)
  • Registry Settings (PM)
  • Set System Defaults (CWS)
  • Site Specific Section Modeling (CWS)
Scenario 1: Progress Notes (Group and Individual) - "Additional Form to Launch" event validations
Specific Setup:
  • In form "Site Specific Section Modeling", have any site specific dictionary field on the form defined with values. For this example, "Note Type" is used
  • Have a value [ValueA] defined with event logic that will launch a modeled form [FormA]
  • Have a value [ValueB] defined with event logic that will launch a product form [FormB]. For this example, the "Inpatient Progress Note" form is used
  • Have access to any another client based form. For this example, form "Update Client Data" is used
Steps
  1. Open the "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" form
  2. Select any client [TestClient]
  3. Select any episode
  4. Navigate to the "Note Type" field
  5. Select [ValueA]
  6. Validate [FormA] opens successfully for the [TestClient]
  7. Close the "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" form
  8. Validate the form closes successfully
  9. Close [FormA]
  10. Validate the form closes successfully
  11. From the home view, open the "Update Client Data" form
  12. Select [TestClient]
  13. Validate the form opens successfully
  14. Close the form
  15. At the home view, open the "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" form
  16. Select any client [TestClient]
  17. Select any episode [TestEpisode]
  18. Navigate to the "Note Type" field
  19. Select [ValueB]
  20. Validate [FormB] opens successfully for the [TestClient]
  21. Navigate back to "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" form
  22. Populate the desired fields on the form
  23. Submit the form
  24. Validate the form files successfully
  25. Navigate back to [FormB]
  26. Populate any desired fields
  27. Submit the form

  29. From the home view, open the "Update Client Data" form
  30. Select [TestClient]

Scenario 2: Progress Notes (Group and Individual) - Autosave
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
  • The 'Autosave Interval in Seconds' registry setting must be set to "60".
  • A Documentation View must be set up on a user's view containing the 'All Documents' widget and the 'Console Widget Viewer' ('All Documents' view).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  2. Search and select "Client A" from the 'Select Client' field.
  3. Enter the desired value in the 'Notes' field.
  4. Wait the 60 seconds for the Autosave to occur and click [Discard].
  5. Validate a 'Confirm Close' dialog stating: "Are you sure you want to Close without saving?" and click [Yes].
  6. Validate the form closes.
  7. Navigate to the 'All Documents' view and back to the myDay view.
  8. Access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  9. Select the entry from the previous steps from the 'Restore/Delete Backup Data' dialog and click [OK].
  10. Validate the 'Notes' field contains the value entered in the previous steps.
  11. Populate all required and desired fields.
  12. Quickly enter text into the 'Notes' field.
  13. Click [Backup] and [Discard].
  14. Validate a 'Confirm Close' dialog stating: "Are you sure you want to Close without saving?" and click [No].
  15. Navigate to the 'All Documents' view and then back to the open 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  16. Enter more text into the 'Notes' field.
  17. Click [Backup] and [Discard].
  18. Validate a 'Confirm Close' dialog stating: "Are you sure you want to Close without saving?" and click [Yes].
  19. Validate the form closes.
  20. Navigate to the myDay view.
  21. Access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  22. Search and select "Client A" from the 'Select Client' field.
  23. Populate any required and desired fields.
  24. Select "Draft" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
  25. Click [Submit Note].
  26. Validate a 'Progress Notes' dialog stating: "Note Files. Do you want to return to the Progress Notes form?"
  27. Wait two minutes.
  28. Click [No].
  29. Validate the form closes.
  30. Select "Client A" and navigate to the 'All Documents' view.
  31. Select 'All Forms'.
  32. Select "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" from the 'Form Description' field.
  33. Validate the note is present and select it.
  34. Validate the note displays as expected in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
Scenario 3: Progress Notes (Group and Individual) - Event Logic Additional Form to Launch
Specific Setup:
  • Using "Site Specific Section Modeling", add a site specific section modeling field to the "Progress Notes (Group and Individual) form to be used for triggering an event on the form. For example, "SS Single Response Dictionary 11".
  • Using "Forms and Table Documentation" figure out what dictionary element was assigned to the new field created in the first step.
  • Use "Dictionary Update" form under the CWS menu, to establish dictionary codes and values. For instance, 1 for "Yes" and 2 for "No".
  • Go back to the "Site Specific Section Modeling" and on the "Event Definition" section add a new "Specific Value" event and set the "Specific Value" to "Yes" and set the additional form to launch an assessment form.
  • Using "Set System Defaults" check "Progress Note (Group and Individual) - Enable Auto Save for CWS Product Forms".
  • Using the "Registry Settings" form, enable the setting "Enable Treatment Plan Grid".
Steps
  1. Open the "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" form.
  2. Populate the client and client episode.
  3. Go to the field added to trigger event logic.
  4. Set the new field to "Yes".
  5. The form that was set up as the "Additional Form to Launch" in setup opens up at this point. You can add a new assessment or edit an existing one.
  6. When returned to the progress note, select "Independent" in the "Progress Note for" field.
  7. Finalize the progress note.
  8. Open the form that is set up as the "Additional Form to Launch".
  9. Validate the form was previously filed as either draft or final.
  10. Open the "Clinical Document Viewer" form.
  11. Locate the document that was created when the progress note was finalized.
